James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy will mark the ‘true starting of the DCU’ in 2025 | motion pictures
Following much speculationnew co-CEO of DC Studios James Gunn made some sweeping announcements about his imaginative and prescient for a reconnected DC Universe of in the present day’s exhibits and flicks. And the filmmaker made it a degree to focus on one of many important characters: Superman.
To have previously mentioned that he wrote a new oneNot-Henry Cavill Tackle the superhero, Gunn confirmed the movie can be referred to as Superman: Legacy.
“We’re hoping he’ll direct,” says Gunn’s co-CEO Peter Saffron. “It is not an origin story. It focuses on how Superman balances his Kryptonian heritage together with his human upbringing. Superman represents reality, justice and the American method. It’s kindness in a world that sees kindness as old style.”
“With our tales, we need to take away the distinction between good and evil,” explains Gunn. “There are actually good – nearly holy – individuals on the market, and Superman is amongst them. There are actually horrible villains like Gorilla Grodd or the Joker tales.”
