Zoe Ball retires from her Radio 2 present and is changed by Vernon Kay

Zoe Ball has been changed on her breakfast present on BBC Radio 2 at present (30 January).
Vernon Kay stuffed in for the veteran DJ who had fallen in poor health and missed the primary present of the week.
publish up Twitter, Zoe defined she had Covid. Sharing an image with Vernon and Rylan, she wrote, “Effectively I’ve Covid… however excellent news is your husband @vernonkay is taking care of you all.”

For his half, Vernon confirmed that he would briefly substitute Zoe whereas she recovers. He additionally joked that he struggles with waking up at 5am.

in April 2022, Zoe had a double mishap when she had a flat tire on her technique to work and wasn’t feeling properly.
The DJ was changed by journey reporter Richie Anderson and made it on the air half-hour later, however needed to pull out once more as she was unwell.

“Sorry for that morning stroll, Tire walked on his technique to work. I wasn’t too eager on it [to] missed the present, stormed in and did not fairly perceive the impact it was having on me. i am okay thanks for the stunning messages,” she tweeted to her followers later that day.

The Zoe Ball Breakfast Present will probably be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 from 6.30am.
